Handprint Games is a small indie game developer based in Glasgow, Scotland, that was founded by Gary Fallon and Jamie Yacoubian. It endeavours to create fun and immersive original games that can be enjoyed by casual and avid gamers alike.
Handprint Games was created after Gary and Jamie finished their studies in Accounting and Finance at Strathclyde University in Glasgow. They took the logical next step and began training to become chartered accountants, specialising in audit. However, they realised fairly early on that they were spending most of their limited free time discussing game ideas. With that, they made the decision to put all of their efforts into something that truly excited them: coming up with ideas that they think will make the world a more fun place to live in.
Situated in the Whisky Bond overlooking Glasgow’s canals, our game studio aims to be a creative hub for the UK gaming industry. With our small but dedicated team, we hope to leave our handprint on the ever-growing world of gaming.
Our first game Punch Perfect, a free mobile game focused on memory and hand-eye coordination, is set to release very soon. Game development updates will appear regularly on our blog and social media channels.
“We aim to become part of Scotland’s rich history of game innovation. From Golf to Grand Theft Auto, Scotland’s games have shaped generations. We intend to leave our handprint on the industry.”
